WHERE CAN YOU USUALLY BE FOUND AT 2AM?

In my bed, sleeping like a baby. I am definitely not a night owl.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR AESTHETIC?

I find myself particularly drawn to candid moments. In essence, I'm attracted to the imperfections found in my image, be it through subtle light leaks, slight blurriness, or a touch of grain. When a photo appears too clinically perfect and flawless, I feel it shows a lack of character and soul, I prefer instead the raw authenticity that imperfections can convey.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH YOUR WORK?

When I started my journey into of film photography it was often in the art of observing. By strolling around, talking to strangers, and letting life happen, I aim to capture the erratic moments that bring meaning to our daily lives. I hope to inspire people to see the beauty in the mundane and appreciate the little things.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE CREATIVE BLOCKS OR MOMENTS WHEN INSPIRATION DOESN’T SEEM TO COME?

When seeking inspiration, I find solace in engaging in various creative activities, whether it's experimenting with cooking or immersing myself in the captivating imagery of a photo book from my collection.

WHAT’S THE MOST BIZARRE PIECE OF ART OR DESIGN YOU’VE EVER CREATED, AND WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND IT?

When I was a small child and drew pictures for my parents.

WHAT’S YOUR GO TO SONG OR GENRE TO WORK TO?

My Spotify is a hugely random, I sometimes listen to one type of music and then 2-3 hours later I'm enjoying something completely different. But Live Well by Palace never gets boring and has accompanied me for a few years now.

WHERE DOES YOUR MAIN SOURCE OF INSPIRATION COME FROM?

By viewing and appreciating all sorts of art, such as my photo-book collection, movies, viewing art from other great artists such as Pia Riverola or Sebzanella.  The places I travel to and the people I meet also serve as sources of inspiration for me.

WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT NEVER FAILS TO MAKE YOU HAPPY OR BRINGS A SMILE TO YOUR FACE?

Discovering new food or simply admiring a sunset by the sea.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST DREAM?

Travelling the world and telling the world’s stories with my camera.

WHAT’S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO ASPIRING ARTISTS?

One piece of advice I'd give to aspiring artists is to stay true to your own unique voice and vision. Create the work for yourself first, and then for others, do not try to please the algorithms.
