WHERE CAN YOU USUALLY BE FOUND AT 2AM?
In bed, Ideally.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR AESTHETIC?
A little bit of everything, an eclectic mix of surreal, bright, bold and colourful
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH YOUR WORK?
Positivity, fun and an escapism.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE CREATIVE BLOCKS OR MOMENTS WHEN INSPIRATION DOESN’T SEEM TO COME?
I usually go for a walk and listen to some music, it helps me think. Sometimes I might just see something on a walk that catches my eye, like a shopping trolley with bunches of dead flowers in it, and then I will be inspired to draw it.
WHAT’S THE MOST BIZARRE PIECE OF ART OR DESIGN YOU’VE EVER CREATED, AND WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND IT?
I did a recent project for client who needed some signage and leaflets for their business, and it was absolutely everything I tend to lean away from when it comes to design. Gold embossed script, fuchsia pink etc but I saw it as a challenge, and the client ended up loving it.
WHAT’S YOUR GO TO SONG OR GENRE TO WORK TO?
I love afro beats, summer vibes, anything that makes me feel like I’m ready for a night out.
WHERE DOES YOUR MAIN SOURCE OF INSPIRATION COME FROM?
Just surrealism in general, Dali was one of my favourite artists and I studied him heavily at uni, I think a lot of recent work stems from that.
WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT NEVER FAILS TO MAKE YOU HAPPY OR BRINGS A SMILE TO YOUR FACE?
Sunshine.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST DREAM?
Just to travel and see more of the world.
WHAT’S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO ASPIRING ARTISTS?
Don’t give up if you feel like your work isn’t being “seen”, forget likes and numbers, do it because it brings you joy.
