WHERE CAN YOU USUALLY BE FOUND AT 2AM?

In the week, I’ll be curled up in bed with my partner and Lola my rescue dog taking up the majority of the bed. On the weekends, I’m usually still in the garden by the pool, drinking wine with my friends and taking turns playing songs on the speaker.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR AESTHETIC?

My aesthetic is heavily influenced by fashion. I tend to gravitate towards specific colors in my work, such as reds, blues, and neutrals, as they consistently complement the vintage vibe I aim to achieve.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH YOUR WORK?

I'm deeply passionate about photographing women and celebrating their beauty and raw sexuality in a feminist manner. It involves taking ownership of our own bodies and presenting them from a woman's perspective rather than a man's.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE CREATIVE BLOCKS OR MOMENTS WHEN INSPIRATION DOESN’T SEEM TO COME?

I'm naturally inclined to worry, so I often need to stop pushing myself. My friends and partner are a constant source of inspiration, and they know me very well, helping me decipher and simplify my thoughts when needed.

WHAT’S THE MOST BIZARRE PIECE OF ART OR DESIGN YOU’VE EVER CREATED, AND WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND IT?

I worked on a fashion shoot in the desert where we had two pet iguanas that the models had to pose with. The iguanas were huge and feisty and I'm not sure the models enjoyed having them on their heads.

WHAT’S YOUR GO TO SONG OR GENRE TO WORK TO?

I have a very varied music taste and it depends on my mood. If I’m stressed and I really need to focus, its 90’s emo, I know lame, but it gets me there. When I’m chill and working from home, I tend to binge watch/listen to Tiny desk on YouTube, favourites are Mac Miller, Khruangbin and Fred again. When I need a guilty pleasure Lighthouse family goes on, and my ride or dies are Alt J.

WHERE DOES YOUR MAIN SOURCE OF INSPIRATION COME FROM?

My friends, I really am surrounded by some stunning, well dressed, eclectic people, also Living in Bali helps.

WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT NEVER FAILS TO MAKE YOU HAPPY OR BRINGS A SMILE TO YOUR FACE?

My dog Lola, she has the most outrageous fluffy tail, when that’s bopping around in front of me its hard to take life too seriously.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST DREAM?

Ah you know, to retire at 40 and drink red wine.

WHAT’S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO ASPIRING ARTISTS?

Don’t try and imitate people, your talent is your individuality, this goes for everything, what you wear, what you eat, what you read etc. Be yourself and embrace that.
